Childhood Friends, Bound Together [Campus]

A cool, haughty, sharp-tongued male lead x a clumsy, slow-witted, naturally airheaded female lead

Naturally airheaded girls are the perfect match for tsunderes.

By chance, Tang Tang became desk mates with Xu Changkuang, the top student and school heartthrob.

To Tang Tang, he was like the bright sun in the sky: beautiful and dazzling. We see it every day, but never dream of embracing it.

Tang Tang thought so, too. A godlike person like him wasn't someone an ordinary girl like her could ever hope for.

She quietly attended class, took breaks, read, and wrote, doing her best not to cause him the slightest trouble.

But a school heartthrob is a school heartthrob. How could anyone resist that damn charm?

Once, Xu Changkuang propped his chin on his hand and smiled as he explained a problem to her. “Even a pig could solve this one, right?”

Tang Tang thought, Is love really this wonderful? Even when he insults me, it feels so sweet.

At last, one day, she mustered the courage to confess. She expected him to reject her, but to her surprise, he agreed.

Xu Changkuang: “Since I'm so smart, I'll reluctantly help raise the average human IQ by dating you.”

Tang Tang's classmate: “Desk mate, what does 'top student' mean?”

Tang Tang couldn't help feeling thrilled. “He said yes.”

Her classmate: “You two really are made for each other!”

Years later, Tang Tang found an old notebook on the bookshelf. It said:

I'm unhappy about getting a new seat, but my sleeping desk mate seems kind of cute.

Tang Tang: So that's what seemed strange back then. He'd buy me food and tutor me. Turns out he had ulterior motives.

When she confronted him, the jerk turned his face away and flipped to the last page. “Look, you're the one who confessed first.”

There, in plain writing, it said:

My desk mate really is an idiot. I've tutored her for so many lessons, and she finally realized she likes me. She confessed to me today, so I reluctantly said yes.
