The Beloved Three-and-a-Half-Year-Old Chick

Synopsis:

A little cub takes a tumble and becomes a doomed extra in a book: someone with an exceptionally poor constitution who causes trouble everywhere and is eventually reduced to dust and scattered bones.

But how would a little cub know what a doomed extra is?

All he knows is that his daddy is extremely poor. The cub must work hard to earn money and support his daddy, so he can live a comfortable life!

Ye Ziheng, the wealthiest man in the Heavenly Realm: "QAQ My son is so filial. I'm still working hard to pretend to be poor today!"

Raised beneath the red flag, the little cub has a kind heart. When he sees injustice, he speaks up, and when someone needs help, he acts. He decisively raises his little wooden sword and says in a fierce baby voice, "Y-you can't bully people, or-or-or I'll beat you up!"

The Deep Abyss Demon Venerable, who has a soul-stealing bell in his pocket and is ready to slaughter his way through the world: "..."

After chasing the "bad guys" away, the little cub goes to check on the handsome older brother's injuries. What a gorgeous older brother! The cub has never seen anyone so handsome. Unable to resist, he pulls out a long, slender feather and says in his childish voice, "Big brother, as long as you have this, the bad guys won't be able to catch you!"

A wicked smile curls the man's lips. The Feather Clan always treasures its feathers, and giving the most beautiful feather on one's body to one's beloved is a way to show affection.

The man feels rather pleased with himself, but he has no taste for little kids, so he immediately refuses. "No need."

Seeing that he politely declines, the little cub hurriedly shoves the feather into his hand. "You don't have to be polite, big brother!"

Daddy said saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda. It's a great merit!

Dan Hua looks into the little cub's clear, stubborn eyes. Who would have thought the feared Demon Venerable would be so adored by a child? After refusing several times, Dan Hua can no longer turn down the little cub's enthusiasm and can only accept the "token of love."

Since you like me so much, I suppose I can reluctantly like you a little, too!

Only later does he find out that the little brat gave away four feathers in all. He's only one-fourth of the way there!

Dan Hua grits his teeth and vows to get his beloved's feather back. But the feathers went to Xiao Yanjing, the Sword Venerable who cleaves the heavens; Feng Peiyuan, the king of beasts who rules a vast territory; and Gu Qingchen, the music cultivator whose melodies banish evil spirits. When rivals meet, their eyes blaze with hostility. Want to take back the token of love? Not a chance!
