[The blurb is still tentative and may be tweaked before the novel begins, but the premise won't change.]
On the eve of her investiture ceremony as Noble Consort, Gao Yitang had a dream.
She dreamed that she was living in a story written by people from a later age: arrogant and beautiful, she was the vicious supporting female character who stood in the way of the Emperor and Empress falling in love.
Who would have thought even a villainess could have her day? Just before she dies on the twenty-fifth day of the first month of the tenth year of Qianlong's reign, someone will take her place.
She will even have to watch as a transmigrator uses her body to enjoy, with a clear conscience, the Emperor's belated devotion and passionate love.
The Empress will be left with not a scrap of the story, while the transmigrator makes a triumphant comeback.
Awakened by the nightmare, Gao Yitang calmly worked out the dates and realized she had eight years before the transmigration.
Gao Yitang: Eight years of enjoyment, then a peaceful early death. The plan starts now.
Gao Yitang spent eight years courting death, but unexpectedly, in the ninth year and then the tenth, she was still alive and kicking, healthy enough to uproot a willow tree with her bare hands.
...So was that person going to transmigrate or not?
Little scene:
After eight years of courting death, the Emperor treated her as if she didn't exist, the Empress got a headache whenever she saw her, the Empress Dowager regarded her as invisible, and the other concubines in the harem all took the same side and united against her.
Gao Yitang feared nothing. In fact, she even found a life where she was invincible a little boring, until the day of a palace banquet:
"Ding! Host has arrived in the Qing Dynasty during the Qianlong era. Your identity is Consort Ling, Wei Jia. Mission objective: win over Qianlong."
Gao Yitang sat bolt upright, jolting awake. The enemy had finally arrived!

Content warnings >>>
1. The world the heroine lives in is not real history, but a novel about transmigrating into a book.
2. The original novel's plot is roughly about a woman who transmigrates into the book as the villainous supporting character, Noble Consort Gao, changes her fate against all odds, surpasses the heroine, and becomes the great love of Qianlong's life.
3. The System in the blurb only appears twice, once to issue a mission and once to retrieve it. It offers no golden finger abilities.
4. There is a romance between the heroine and Qianlong, but no children.
5. The heroine is stunningly beautiful (as the title suggests), the type to use her beauty to get away with anything.
6. There are no absolute villains, and the heroine has a universally adored appeal.
I'll add more if I think of anything...
