[Pure Love, Bottom-Centric. Status to be updated later!]
As a police academy student, Amamiya Kiyosuke considered himself the most ordinary one among his friends.
Ordinary personality, ordinary family.
Then one day, while visiting a convenience store, Amamiya Kiyosuke ran into a suspicious-looking guy.
“Hey, kid.” A strange man stopped him, smiled, then asked, “Do you know Toru Amuro?”
The question felt a little abrupt, but Amamiya Kiyosuke politely replied, “Sorry, I don't.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw the man give him a strange look.
And then, the next second...
Amamiya Kiyosuke found himself back outside the convenience store.
He stared in silence at the beer back on the shelf and the yen still untouched in his wallet.
What was going on?
“Hello.”
When Amamiya Kiyosuke entered the convenience store for the second time, the strange man was still standing in the same place. This time, though, he spoke with impeccable courtesy. “Would you mind if I asked you something? I don't think it will take very long.”
Amamiya Kiyosuke: “?”
Wait, had this guy's dialogue changed?
The player had recently found an interesting single-player game. The NPCs were all incredibly lifelike, and the slightest slip in tone or wording brought up a [Affection -1] notification.
The player had obsessive-compulsive tendencies, so he reloaded his save over and over.
But his character card's Charm stat was too low. Almost no one ever had an Affection score above 50 for him.
This was a real headache for a player trying to unlock every romance achievement.
Until one day, everything changed.
On the afternoon of November 7, he received a System notification.
[Amamiya Kiyosuke's affection +50]
In the early hours of November 8, he got a phone call.
“Umekawa.” The young police officer, who had graduated only recently, spoke in a hoarse voice. After a brief pause, he said, “...There's something really important I want to tell you in person.”
The player glanced at the [70 (a kind of obsession)] that was streaking ahead of every other score on the affection panel, and raised an intrigued eyebrow.
“So this NPC is one of those romanceable characters who throws himself at you.”
“Sure,” he said.
If someone's offering themselves up, why not take them?
[Reader's Guide]
1. Pure love. The main character's love interest is the player mentioned in the blurb.
2. The player will have lots of character cards, use secret identities, and serve the protagonist a heartbreak or two (?)
3. I think the way the locals (the protagonist) see the Fourth Calamity (the player) would be really interesting, so I want to try writing this kind of story. Yeah!
Theme: No matter what, meet sincerity with sincerity.
