A Goofball Lands in a Mystery Anime

Sakura Yukiya once made a heartfelt wish.

If he could, he wanted to become an incredibly cool, powerful, and awesome cop who could carry a gun and fight crime for the people.

But it seemed the heavens only heard half his wish before eagerly sending him to another world. After transmigrating, he became an incredibly cool, powerful, and awesome member of... an evil organization, who could carry a gun.

Sakura Yukiya: eyes trembling in shock

This kind of job, where you can fight crime for the people by killing yourself, went against everything he believed in!

So Sakura Yukiya proactively submitted an application to his silver-haired boss, big brother, and temporary guardian.

Gin looked at the dozens of pages of applications and personal statements in his hands, titled "The Importance and Inevitability of Going Undercover with the Police" and "I'm Ready to Devote Myself to the Organization and Infiltrate the Detestable, Devious Police." He fell into a peculiar silence.

After smoking a cigarette, Gin, who had long since grown sick of Sakura Yukiya, decided this was the perfect chance to get rid of him. So once he'd prepared a fake identity, Gin kicked Sakura Yukiya out of the base.

That very day, Sakura Yukiya walked into the police academy, brimming with confidence and accompanied by his Guardian Character.

This was the career he'd always dreamed of! His classmates were so friendly and amazing. He loved it here!

After graduation, Sakura Yukiya excitedly called Gin, whom he hadn't spoken to in ages.

Over Gin's impatient urging from the other end, Sakura Yukiya said proudly, "Well, big brother, I did so incredibly well during my time at the academy..."

Gin sounded somewhat relieved. "You got promoted?"

"No, I got sent undercover into the organization! Big brother, I'll be back at your side in no time. You must be so happy, right?"

"...Hello? Big brother, are you listening?"

Reader's guide:

1. Starts at the police academy. Cozy moments and silly comedy in equal measure.

2. The protagonist is devoted to the good side. The bottle contains nothing but water, not a drop of alcohol.

3. Fanfiction written out of love. Readers who discover the original characters' charm through the fanfic are very welcome. Please don't dislike the original characters because of the fanfic, okay? QAQ
