The General Is a Needy Little Thing

The General Is a Total Spoiled Brat

At a cuju match, An Ning laid eyes once more on He Yi, the handsome man who had taken the capital by storm, and immediately decided she would marry no one else.

The day after court, the honest and unassuming chancellor, An Yan, stopped the coldest general in the dynasty and asked, trembling, "General He, are you married?"

"Not yet."

"My daughter is kind and charming. Would you be willing to... meet her?"

On the main street, the two met with a curtain between them. He Yi asked, "What do you like about me?"

An Ning: "You're handsome, General, and..."

"And what?"

An Ning lowered her voice. "You're even more handsome when you act spoiled."

He Yi's eyelids twitched twice.

He couldn't act spoiled at all. The person An Ning had seen was his twin brother, He Yu.

That didn't stop him from marrying her, though.

After their wedding, to keep the truth from coming out, the coldest general in the Li Dynasty became a total spoiled brat at home...

"Your husband has a sore leg. Rub it for me."

"Your husband ate something spicy. Blow on it for me."

"Your husband's lips hurt. Give me a kiss."

A million enemy troops pressed against the border. He charged alone into their ranks and took the enemy general's head. When he returned home, he hadn't even taken off his armor, but his delicate wife was cowering behind the door curtain, afraid to come out.

He Yi dropped his sword and walked toward her one step at a time. "An Ning, are you afraid of me?"

An Ning: "Because, you... you stopped acting spoiled."

His brow shifted. Then he suddenly plopped down on the floor, pulling a long face. "Your husband saw so much blood today. I'm scared."
