I Want to Fall in Love With Fushi

Ruoye has a crush on Fuji,

and her secret love is careful and content.

During breaks in the tennis club's practice, she sits by the window facing the courts, joining in conversations about the club while carefully searching for Fuji's figure.

When the tennis club needs help, she joins the other volunteers in preparing meals. She takes the sour dishes off the plate labeled "Fuji" and adds a serving of wasabi.

She also keeps an eye on the weather every day, putting on a raincoat and taking an umbrella when it rains.

She secretly watches from a corner near the school building. Only after confirming there's an umbrella in Fuji's basket does she put her own rain gear away, feeling both satisfied and disappointed.

She thought nobody knew but her.

But then--

Ruoye habitually searches for Fuji's figure through the classroom window.

She turns her head and happens to meet a pair of smiling eyes. Resting his face on one hand, he silently mouths with a smile:

"Thanks for before."

Ruoye: "!"

One day.

Ruoye signs up to help out again.

She's just about to take the sour pickled vegetables off Fuji's plate and replace them with spicy mustard greens when she moves the dish aside and reveals a note.

It has three short lines:

"Thanks for all your hard work (^_^)"

"Could I borrow half your umbrella?"

"Ruoye"
