My Boyfriend Was Picked Up on the Side of the Road

Zhuang He woke up one day with amnesia. He couldn't remember anything, but Chu Yili, who had saved him, seemed strangely familiar, as if they'd met before. So he was forced to set out to recover his memories.

Chu Yili was an idle playboy and a total scumbag, but behind the scenes he was secretly investigating the deaths of his older brother's family. He also made the amnesiac Zhuang He a prime suspect. But Chu Yili gradually realized that Zhuang He was actually quite handsome, and especially well-behaved now that he'd lost his memories.

Chu Yili: "Trying to get your memories back? I'll help. Come over here, come to my side."

Zhuang He obediently did as he was told and moved closer.

Chu Yili: "Now close your eyes."

Zhuang He squeezed his eyes shut.

Chu Yili lowered his head and stole a quick kiss from Zhuang He.

Zhuang He covered his face, blushing from ear to ear. His eyes shone as he looked at Chu Yili.

The scoundrel had gotten his way.

Chu Yili couldn't resist a boy who was this absent-minded and unguarded, and Zhuang He didn't resist him at all. What did Chu Yili care who he was or whether he was a suspect? He'd enjoy having him first and ask questions later.

But Zhuang He's lost memories seemed to conceal a bloody past. His identity was a mystery, and he was connected to several unsolved murders from years ago, as well as to Chu Yili's own past. As his memories slowly returned, the truth gradually came to light.

"Everything I told you about the past was a lie. But when I said I loved you, I meant it. If you don't believe me, I'll cut my heart out and show you."

"The knife's right here. Go ahead."
