We Agreed to Fake It, So Why Are You Kissing Me So Hard?

Ling Ye and Shi Ran belonged to a boy group so obscure it might as well have been underground. During one performance, the camera caught Ling Ye lowering his head to adjust Shi Ran's earpiece, capturing a kiss-like shot overflowing with sexual tension. At last, the obscure group gained a little attention, and the company immediately arranged for them to promote their CP and sell their BL image. The two, who barely spoke in private, gritted their teeth and laid on the manufactured sweetness in front of the cameras. * The accident happened during a collaborative stage. After the performance, a leg chain got caught around Shi Ran's thigh. As Ling Ye knelt to help him free it, Shi Ran bit his lower lip, red from being kissed, and gave his promotional partner some pointers. "That last pose... you... kissed too hard." "We can fake the angle. There's no need to make it look so real..." "Sorry." "It's fine. Just go a little lighter next time." Shi Ran thought they'd move on from this slightly over-the-top promotional act. He didn't know that their microphones were still on, and the whole conversation had been broadcast live. * Their promotional CP crashed and burned in no time. Everyone thought the pairing was over for good. But that night, the trending topic exploded in a way no one expected: #LingYeShiRanRealKiss# As soon as they heard it was a real kiss, netizens went wild, losing themselves in the ship. - Who said you could make your fake BL promotions this intense?! - When's next time? Kiss again, right now! - All CPs should promote themselves like this! - What the heck, they're actually kissing for promo * Ling Ye had liked someone for many years. He was bright and beautiful, yet utterly out of reach. But that night, he knocked on Ling Ye's door, the tips of his ears red, and asked: "Ling Ye... would you be willing to promote a CP with me?" "Nothing too intimate. We can just pretend, fool the cameras." -Everyone thinks we're acting. -But every second, I want to make the act real.
