Notes on Tasting

Tang Ying, heir to a restaurant empire, was poisoned after someone sabotaged a dish she was sampling. After her death, she was reborn in ancient times as a peasant girl named Ding Jiu'er. With nothing but bare walls to her name, Ding Jiu'er then rescued a prince fallen on hard times, gaining her first bit of startup capital. Using the culinary skills and business experience from her past life, she gradually rebuilt her restaurant empire.
