The Camellia Path

The impoverished scholar Bai Qingquan inherited his father's medical skills. In his spare time, he treated the neighbors to help support his family. One day, on his way home after treating a patient, he was caught in the rain without an umbrella and took shelter beneath the eaves of a stationery shop. Suddenly, a young man in white appeared out of nowhere on the stone bridge, which had been empty moments before.

After that, strange things began happening around Bai Qingquan one after another...

Legend says that in the underworld, there is a long road whose end cannot be seen. Brilliant red spider lilies bloom on both sides. They are the final sight a person sees in life, so the road is called the Withering Path.

Legend says that three thousand years ago, the underworld was a desolate place filled only with dense fog and miasma. A compassionate immortal willingly descended into the underworld to transform evil spirits, becoming a spider lily and adding a touch of color to the realm.
