Surviving in the Palace Again Today

Yi Zhou transmigrates into an ancient political-strategy novel, one full of vicious struggles between princes. The slightest misstep could leave him dead without a proper burial.

When he learns that he has become a tutor to the princes, his heart sinks halfway. Doesn't teaching any of them mean taking sides?

He doesn't want to get involved in political schemes or get dragged down with them, so he seeks out the least conspicuous Sixth Prince. The book says the Sixth Prince has no interest in court affairs and only wants to live peacefully in a lotus root.

Surely someone like that would be gentle and laid-back. Without hesitation, Yi Zhou goes to seek the protection of the Sixth Prince, Qin Jiushao.

But as he teaches him, Yi Zhou keeps feeling that this prince isn't as harmless as he looks...

Yi Zhou is starting to get nervous.

At last, Yi Zhou gets a chance to leave the palace and never return. He happily packs his bags, tells no one, and sneaks out of the palace in the middle of the night.

That very night, he sees a black-clad assassin sitting by his bed.

And the assassin looks very much like the student he teaches... Qin Jiushao.

A scheming, increasingly calculating prince X a dedicated teacher who realizes he hasn't taught him well and tries to run away
