During an accident, Jin Xi was transported to the Labyrinth Continent, where she acquired a labyrinth beside an abandoned village. The labyrinth had three defining traits: small, shabby, and poor. Jin Xi herself had to rely on adventurers exploring the labyrinth to keep herself alive. That meant real life extension: kill one monster and gain ten minutes, explore a new labyrinth floor and gain twenty-four hours. - Jin Xi equipped a wooden club. - Jin Xi entered the first floor of the labyrinth [10 points earned for entering for the first time]. - A slime appeared up ahead! - Jin Xi attacked the slime, but it dodged. - The slime counterattacked. Jin Xi was melted by its slime! - The slime won! - Jin Xi triggered the beginner protection system and respawned at full health in the reception hall. Jin Xi silently tossed aside the rolling pin and pot lid, now both reduced to half their original length, and walked over to the snack counter. She wiped the slime from her face, then ordered steamed buns, crispy fried dough sticks, sweet-and-sour pork, Eight Treasure tofu, braised ox tongue and tail, and other delicious dishes. There was no helping it. Basic labyrinths that were "small, shabby, and poor" were everywhere on the continent, and hers had no competitive edge at all. She would just have to take an unconventional approach: if she couldn't compete on hardware, she'd make up for it with software. It didn't matter if she couldn't fight for herself, as long as she could lure a few adventurers over. Later, Jin Xi upgraded the reception hall, improving its appearance and expanding its floor space. She also unlocked a number of useful facilities that adventurers loved but that not every labyrinth had. - A weapon shop and armor shop that could make high-quality combat gear. - A general store selling high-quality potions and spellbooks. - An enchantment shop that could imbue weapons with special effects. - And a mysterious hidden level on the twentieth floor, where adventurers could supposedly encounter monsters from other worlds and earn priceless treasures by defeating them. The Tidal Labyrinth rose to fame across the Labyrinth Continent. When explorers finally reached its hundredth floor, Jin Xi recovered all of her memories, along with...
