This story will be available to read for a fee on February 4!

There will be an update of ten thousand words at that time!

I hope you'll continue to support me!

Rimu Mei inherited her mother's spiritual powers as a shrine maiden and her father's half-yokai nature, making her a half-and-half yokai with purifying powers.

Unlike her father, who turns human only on the night of a full moon, she turns into a half-yokai on the night of a full moon.

Her childhood friend is a boy with the lofty dream of taking down the Commissioner General of Police.

His name is Mazda.

In high school, the two never stopped making fun of each other.

Their classmates and friends all felt that it would be a shame if the two of them didn't get together.

Their parents had already accepted the other as part of the family, convinced that only the other could be their future son-in-law or daughter-in-law.

This left the two of them quite troubled.

At the time, each thought the other wasn't their type.

High school Mazda thought he liked sexy beauties like his friend's older sister.

High school Mei thought she liked fair-skinned boys like the ones in the class next door.

But whenever someone confessed their feelings to Mei, Mazda would always make a sarcastic remark, saying they had no taste and asking what there was to like about a violent girl.

One full-moon night, ten years later

Mazda: “What do you think of the moon tonight?”

Mei, on the verge of turning into a half-yokai, punched him in the face.

Mazda, sprawled on the ground: “!!! I thought saying something like that was supposed to make a girl understand what I meant!!!”
