Blurb:
At the end of her seventeenth year, Tao Yin secretly fell for a boy.
He came from a good family, with a refined, distinguished air. Beneath his arrogant, carefree exterior lay a gentle, well-bred nature that stirred her heart without him even realizing it. Countless girls at school admired him, but his clear, deep eyes seemed to have room for no one.
All she could do was write her secret feelings on every page of her diary.
One day, Jiang Yiyang happened to open that diary. Beneath the neat, delicate handwriting, the same name appeared again and again, each line filled with her tender, pure love for him.
After pondering for a moment, he turned to look at his girlfriend curled up on the sofa, smiling as he asked, "You liked me that early?"
Tao Yin took a bite of a potato chip and thought back. "Maybe even earlier than that."
"What was I doing then?"
"Thinking about skateboards all the time."
Jiang Yiyang fell silent for a long moment, then cursed himself under his breath. "Idiot."

At the awards ceremony for the biennial skateboarding competition, dazzling lights shone over a packed crowd. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the dazzling, unrestrained man onstage.
A reporter held out a microphone. "Jiang, now that you've won this trophy, is there anything you still regret?"
Everyone knew the answer: he'd had to withdraw from the previous competition because of an injury, missing his chance to stand on the podium.
But Jiang Yiyang unexpectedly replied, "That I didn't fall in love with my wife at first sight."
The audience was hit with a wave of public affection, and the crowd erupted.
The event was still being broadcast live. As a "professional" sports-channel reporter, she had no choice but to continue reading from her script. "So what's your next goal?"
"To love her more than I did yesterday."
The audience went wild.
Seeing that the crowd was getting out of hand, the reporter tossed her script aside and switched to celebrity gossip. "Mrs. Jiang is here right now. Is there anything you'd like to say to her?"
The man's handsome gaze settled on someone in the crowd, and his voice softened. "Actually, I've never told you that, during a time you knew nothing about, I also..."
"Had a secret crush on you."
In a love where two hearts find their way to each other, you're not the only one whose heart skipped a beat. I was once in turmoil too.

Sprinkle flowers. Spread flowers. They look good.
It must be quite tiring to have a crush on someone who is unlikely to like you.
