Save That Black-Hearted Man

The eldest daughter of the Zhu family is hailed as the most beautiful woman in the cultivation world. Every frown and smile of hers seems to glow with spiritual energy.

She is beautiful, yes, but sadly, she's sickly.

Zhu Mian is that sickly girl.

After awakening to her true self, she discovers that she is a supporting female character in a cultivation novel.

One day, she will save the male lead, fall in love with him, and die for him, eventually becoming the moonlight in his heart.

She also knows that the frail little servant in her courtyard will one day become a great villain who can turn the world upside down.

Her mission is to follow the entire plot and, along the way, raise the villain into an honorable gentleman.

Zhu Mian: I'm tired. Let's just destroy everything.

Xue Zhen is sinister and withdrawn, a man-eating flower blooming in the filthiest, darkest corner of the world.

He once thought he had seen every kind of darkness under the sun, and that his heart had long since turned to stone.

But one day, an innocent young lady suddenly barges into his world.

She is kind to him and smiles at him, telling him he's the best person in the world. Every time he means to kill her, she unwittingly makes his heart soften.

She's like a lotus untouched by the mud, beautiful and pure.

But he doesn't believe it.

He wants to tear away the young lady's mask of kindness and see how she will fall apart when she learns how cruel the world can be.

So he accompanies her to seek a master and go on trials, watching as more and more people gather around her, and as she begins treating others well.

Before he knows it, he has forgotten his original purpose.

He begins to disguise himself.

In front of the young lady, he is an upright and kind gentleman. Behind her back, he painstakingly kills off, one by one, everyone around her who gets in his way, then lays a tight trap to keep her by his side.

If she has been lying to him from beginning to end, then she can lie to no one but him.
