A Two-Faced Love Letter [Reborn]

What's it like to get a second chance and become the aloof, gloomy genius big shot's white moonlight?

Ning Ning opens her eyes and finds herself back in 1997. She turns around and slips the love letter she wrote for her husband into the arms of the genius who would later become a mathematician.

"Lu Xun, I've liked you for a long time. Will you be my boyfriend?"

The math genius, and Cheng Li's best friend, stares at her. "?"

Everyone envies Ning Ning for her good fortune in becoming the wife of entrepreneur Cheng Li, but no one knows what her married life is like.

Her husband keeps a mistress on the side and cheats with her best friend. Her in-laws blame her for not having children and hurl cruel insults at her.

Worst of all, when her brother Ning Huai is at the peak of his acting career, someone sabotages him and sends him crashing from fame. He jumps off a building, and their parents follow in his footsteps.

Ning Ning spends her life in misery, watching Cheng Li bring three illegitimate children home and spend his whole life surrounded by women.

When she dies, the only one by her side is Lu Xun, a researcher now past forty.

He never married and lived alone, but as Ning Ning lay dying, he held her withered hand and told her the words he'd waited a lifetime to say.

The once-sensation mathematical genius, that proud and arrogant prodigy, had waited for her his whole life.

She swears that if she gets another life, she will definitely...

* Ruthless, gloomy genius big shot x pretty, adorable sweetheart

* The regretful husband tries to win her back, but the devoted second male lead takes her heart

Back in 1997, there's still time to make things right.

Lu Xun likes her, so she'll happily date this boy whose eyes are only for her, marry him, and have children.

She'll help her brother launch his acting career, too. Somehow, they'll make a good life for themselves.

-

Lu Xun and his best friend Cheng Li like the same girl.

Cheng Li says, "You owe me. You have no right to compete with me."

Lu Xun knows the girl only has eyes for Cheng Li. He smiles bitterly. "She doesn't like me. Don't worry."

But in the year they graduate from high school, she slips a love letter into Lu Xun's arms.

From then on, Lu Xun can't eat or sleep.

He warns her, "Don't come near me, or else..."

The girl smiles, her eyes curving as she teases him. "Or else what?"

Or else he'll kiss her senseless.

Later, when their children are grown, Ning Ning can still remember that proud genius mathematician gripping her waist and kissing her passionately for half an hour in a little alley.

In the chaotic days of youth, a blazing heart came to her and loved her for a long time.
