Fifteen hundred years later, the leaders of all eight great immortal sects pointed their swords at me and asked my husband, "Immortal Lord Lingguang, between your wife and your disciple, whom do you choose to believe? Can we deal with the other one? Surely you can't bear to kill them yourself."
I thought so too. He had to choose between his wife and his beloved disciple.
The disciple he had treasured and loved with all his heart.
Even if he cast me aside, at least he would leave my corpse intact. But I watched as he raised his sword and carved up my body, while a soul-devouring formation crushed my spirit.
Oh. After all those years of marriage, I still couldn't compare to a few slanderous words and lies, or to a disciple who had only been with him for a short time.
I had given my heart to the wrong person.
I heard that after I died, the Demon King Lou Yan destroyed the entire cultivation world, leaving rivers of blood. Not one of the eight great immortal sects survived.
When I awoke again, I was back fifteen hundred years in the past. I was still an innocent young girl, and my husband, Immortal Lord Lingguang, was still a gifted young man. He was full of ambition, and he was betrothed to me, the fairy Xizhe.
The day he came to ask for my hand, I rejected him in front of everyone. I chose Lou Yan, the demon who would later destroy the entire cultivation world.
Everyone thought I had gone mad. But I hadn't. I had always known Lou Yan loved me.
For my sake, he would stand against the entire world.
But my husband stood against me for the sake of all living beings.
I went to find Lou Yan and told him, "I want to marry you."
He laughed wickedly. His cruel, bloodthirsty gaze softened for me. "Then tell me, what do you want?"
I smiled faintly. "I want the head of the young Immortal Lord Sheng Lingguang."
He laughed and pulled me into his arms, his voice tender and seductive. "Then I'll bring you his head to make you happy."
Later, my former husband, Immortal Lord Lingguang, the pride of the immortal sects, knelt at my feet, covered in blood and utterly broken, begging for forgiveness. "A Zhe, give me one more chance. I swear I'll love you properly."
The Demon King Lou Yan kissed me domineeringly in front of him and said, "Only I get to cherish my wife. You're not worthy."
It was only after meeting Lou Yan that I learned I deserved to be loved too.
Notes:
1. The blurb is in first person, but the story is not.
2. The ex pursues her desperately, but never wins her back.

Blurb:
Su Wei transmigrated into an old-fashioned tragic romance as the pitiful white moonlight.
In the original story, the noble and elegant male lead, her senior disciple, loved her. So did the playful and adorable junior disciple, a little white lotus. All sorts of supporting male characters and villains longed for her but couldn't have her...
She had the beloved-by-everyone role, until the original heroine appeared. Then they joined forces to kill her, clearing the way for the heroine.
The heroine became her replacement and went on to act out a melodramatic story of emotional and physical torment with the cast of leads and villains.
When Su Wei arrived, she was on the brink of death, having been pushed into the Underworld. Her next stop was to be devoured by countless ghosts.
But she didn't die. Instead, she tumbled into the arms of the gravely wounded Netherworld Emperor.
Netherworld Emperor: "I haven't seen a living person in years. Little girl, your flesh smells delicious. It must be nourishing."
Su Wei burst into frightened tears. "Don't eat me! I'll be your wife, sob sob."
Netherworld Emperor: "Wife?"
Su Wei: "The kind who can have your babies."
Su Wei had no choice but to care for the gravely wounded Demon King. The poor Demon King had damaged spiritual roots, lost his cultivation, and, worst of all, been disfigured beyond recognition.
Su Wei accepted her fate. But as she cared for him... her belly began to swell.
She was carrying the Netherworld Emperor's child.
Later, Su Wei returned to her sect with a huge belly and a devastatingly handsome man at her side. She pointed her sword at the heavens. "You pack of scum who tried to kill me, come out and face your deaths! Don't make me go in there and find you myself!"
The noble and elegant male lead's eyes reddened. "Weiwei, you're alive! Thank goodness!"
The black-lotus junior disciple put on a false show of sincerity. "Senior Sister! You're finally back! We missed you so much!"
The white moonlight's replacement was full of gratitude. "Senior Sister, it's good to have you back."
They all rushed toward her, overcome with emotion.
Before anyone could get close, the man pulled Su Wei into his arms and shielded her. His voice was low and commanding. "Touch her, and I'll erase your souls."
With her pregnant belly, Su Wei immediately grew bold.
Come on! Aren't you all so capable?! Go ahead and try to hurt me again!
I have a husband. What have I got to fear?!
The crowd backed away in terror. Su Wei took the man's hand, ignoring the strange looks. "Hah! A bunch of useless trash. Not one of you can fight."
The Underworld was dark and barren, its spiritual energy depleted. Emperor Hengwu was gravely wounded and should have been waiting to die.
But one day, a fairy fell into his world.
She was sweet and gentle, never recoiled from his hideous appearance, and wanted only to heal him. Knowing there was no hope for his recovery, he planned to use the last of his divine power to send her away.
But she said, "Hengwu, the Underworld would be prettier with flowers."
To give him a glimpse of life beyond herself, she covered the Underworld in flowers.
He had been struggling to survive in the dark, despairing of everything. He never expected that one day, light would shine in.
A silly, sweet xianxia story. The worldbuilding is entirely made up, and the heroine is goofy and scatterbrained. High-energy antics ahead.
Theme: Everyone deserves to be loved.
The ending is too hasty. One or two extra chapters should be added, such as Lou Yan in the previous life. The ending is really stuck here and cannot be improved.
Ahhh, why is the ending so hasty!
The male and female lead duo are so silly.
The heroine is her father. . . . . . Being played around by women, you are a waste
It was so satisfying to read it all in one go, the last sentence was absolutely amazing! I really want to know the details, ugh oooooooooo
It's hard to figure out what happened to Yu Yanlin.
Dear author, come on, I really like this article, don't give up.
It's so short(??????_??????)
"Nvshu Shangsan" gave the author a big bug ~ body
