My Tentacles Are Out of My Control

A ruthless, beautiful, strong, tragic, and aloof top x a flippant, unserious, scheming nonhuman bottom

A fearsome enforcer has joined the Department for Anomaly Control. Ruthless and merciless, with an extraordinarily beautiful face, he quickly wins everyone's respect.

Even though he's just an ordinary person with no supernatural abilities.

But nobody knows that the elegant, aloof Wen Li has a troubling secret lately: he's grown a tentacle that isn't human, and he can't control it.

The tentacle can't be cut off or destroyed, and it has a mind of its own. Before long, more and more tentacles appear: one, two... eight.

They crawl all over Wen Li without restraint while he's reprimanding his subordinates, sleeping, interrogating criminals, or even decapitating a dark-element ability user...

Wen Li goes to great lengths to tame the tentacles. Just then, a man named Lu Mingzhou, who seems spectacularly unserious, shows up at the Department for Anomaly Control. He claims someone has lured away his eight friends and asks their ace to help him get them back.

The moment he sees Wen Li, he chuckles. "Looks like they've been enjoying themselves more than I have."

Rumor has it Wen Li used his pretty face to seduce the director, which is how he managed to thrive at the Department for Anomaly Control.

Only after hearing that the late director left all his assets to Wen Li do they realize that Wen Li was the ex-wife who was the director's unforgettable first love.

But no one knows that at the director's funeral, Wen Li's cheeks are flushed and his eyes are misty. Everyone assumes he still has feelings for his ex-husband, but only Wen Li sees the man in the corner raising an eyebrow at him and wishes he could chop him to pieces.

Reader's guide:

1. The bottom's eight tentacles embody his own consciousness, like split-off versions of himself. And he has no morals.

2. The top is beautiful, strong, and tragic, and he really is hard-hearted, stubborn, and ruthless. Nothing substantial happened between him and his ex-husband; their marriage was contractual.

3. The top is very powerful, the strongest human alive. But the bottom is a nonhuman, after all, so he's got a bit more stamina.
