I grew up in a wealthy family with four young masters. As the butler's son, I naturally became their shared lackey.
On Mondays, I help the exceptionally talented eldest young master publicly mock his nemesis, saying he's good for nothing except being handsome, getting decent grades, and having a nice personality.
On Tuesdays, I help the taciturn second young master make a lovingly prepared lunch, then corner the poor student he likes outside the restroom and force him to eat it and send me a fifteen-character review.
On Wednesdays, I help the third young master, who has a certain desire but is extremely restrained, relieve his symptoms by acting as his human catnip.
On Thursdays, I help the fake fourth young master get revenge by seducing the real young master into coming out and ruining his reputation...
Small-minded, throwing my weight around, and using every trick in the book to suck up to people: that's what it means to be a lackey. I'm not ashamed. I'm proud of it.
After all, I alone know that dignity is worthless compared to money.
But just as I was once again helping the young masters vent their anger by warning the poor students who wanted to seduce them through improper means, lines of text appeared before my eyes.
Through the comments, I learned that I was an NPC in a comic with a mishmash of different worlds.
The good news was that the young masters I'd worked so hard to please really were powerful figures who could turn the world upside down.
The bad news was that they only were in the early chapters of the comic.
The eldest young master, someone, relied on his family background and talent to suppress the male lead. In the end, the male lead overtook him and left him with broken arms and legs.
The second young master, someone Jiang, got his lover stolen by the protagonist gong because of his foul mouth. Then, after making a grave mistake because he never changed his ways, the protagonist gong gouged out both his eyes.
The third young master, someone Tang, was cheated on by the protagonist shou 1,234,567 times. Then they conspired to anger him until he became a vegetable, making him a permanent part of their play.
The fourth young master, someone Shi, did everything he could to get rid of the real young master. Instead, he fell into a trap, was abandoned by his family, and became a starving ghost on the street.
And me, their lackey, had no name or face. I was abandoned, hit by a car and left in a vegetative state, then made part of their play before having my eyes gouged out and my limbs chopped off, until I became a human pig...

A stock-picking comic bringing together four hugely popular novels by Qi Jin Tang Shi. Readers must vote to choose the new world's Child of Destiny, and all the other contenders will meet gruesome ends.
But the shared lackey of the overlooked villains defies fate, helping every protagonist and villain escape their inevitable deaths. His blank face gradually gains a nose and eyes, becoming Comic Face One.
Outside the comic, his popularity soars until he becomes the people's choice. Inside it, the protagonists and villains all fall at his feet, willingly becoming his devoted followers.
Through his overwhelming personal charm, he makes everyone remember his name: Yu Zhao. He becomes the moonlight and the cinnabar mole in everyone's heart.
But even so, he still can't escape his destined death, becoming a source of eternal regret both inside and outside the comic.
At the very end, Yu Zhao wiped the blood from his face and watched the comments above him gradually form into a pair of enormous arms. Their hands cradled him and slowly lifted him into the air. A mechanical, emotionless voice rang out: "Master, welcome home."
Reading guide:
1. The main text is in third person! The comments appear in real time, and they are the gong's golden finger.
2. The gong is called Yu Zhao. At first, nobody can remember his name or face, including Yu Zhao himself. That changes later.
3. The gong has arrows pointing at him from all directions. He's a heartthrob adored by everyone.
4. The blurb will be revised and expanded. The official pairing hasn't been decided yet.
