Seedlings and Their Friends

[This is a bonus story to the completed novel "A Real Couple in the Seventies." It can be read on its own, but if you're interested, feel free to visit my author page and check it out!] [Note: The name Hemiao refers to two people, Fang Qinghe and Fang Qingmiao.] [First Half] Fang Qinghe had loved playing big sister since she was little. She took Gao Ming, whose stepmother bullied him and whose father ignored him, under her wing like a little chick following behind her. Who would have thought that the little chick would grow into an eagle? He still followed her around, but now they walked side by side. [Second Half] [The male lead is five years older than the female lead] Fang Qingmiao was a lucky little girl, protected by her parents and big sister. But when her sister went to study in the city, she became a target for the other children to bully. After thinking it over, she decided she needed someone to back her up, and set her sights on Zhou Yang from the compound. She figured that with so many brothers and sisters, he must never lose a fight. Back then, Zhou Yang thought she was a little burden. When they met again years later, he wished he could carry her for the rest of his life. [Note] This is the story of the Fang family's two daughters as they grow up. It features romance, friendship, careers, and family, with quite a few characters appearing. All place names are used simply for the convenience of writing. Please don't read too much into them. Some details are also invented for the story, or the plot couldn't move forward. Theme: Everyone has a bright future ahead.
