Free Reads of All Kinds, Part 1
These are good reads. You could say this list is just for me, since I have no idea how to review books. I just recommend them.
Derivative Romance
A mix of DC and Marvel, Jujutsu Kaisen, Durarara!!, Demon Slayer, Bleach, Detective Conan, The King's Avatar, One Piece, Blood Blockade Battlefront, FF7, and more.
Mostly BG Fanfiction
The downside of not sorting my bookshelf (wistfully scrolling through it): I keep adding books as I read.
Some Long-Awaited Reads
Delicious stories with unfinished endings... All kinds of Mary Sue stories, both original and fanworks, though there are more crossover anime stories.
[BG Fanfiction] An XP Smorgasbord
Incest / everyone-pairings / taboo romance / misunderstood-as-a-genius plots / simulators. Includes Bungou Stray Dogs, Jujutsu Kaisen, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, The King's Avatar, and Gintama. Four stars means highly recommended.
Personal Reading List (Keep Out)
For my own use. I need to revisit good stories. My tastes are all over the place, so don't bother looking.
All Kinds of Fanfiction, BG Only
Otome-style? Not sure if it counts. Mostly Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Detective Conan. They're all really five-star reads, but JJ won't let me give five stars anymore, so I can only give them four.
Otome Harem Fantasy
Most feature a female lead with multiple male partners. The five-star picks are pretty much all safe bets. Some are fanfic for female readers.
Fan Works, Mostly Romance, No Couples
Either the prose or the ideas stand out. Lower ratings are mostly because of hiatuses or short length, not because I thought they were bad.
Great Fanfiction Loved by College Women
Now that I've read more, I really can't get through stories with immature writing. There's Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, Gintama, JoJo, Hunter x Hunter, Sherlock, Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, and all kinds of obscure fandoms.
Canon-Divergent / Soccer / A Little of Everything
I really want a delicious meal
Obscure Free Derivative Works (Part Two)
Any pairing is fine. I read all sorts and have no deal-breakers. If it’s fun, it goes here. They’re all free anyway.
All Fanfiction
A BG warrior. I read pretty widely and will try any kind of fanfic.
Free Reads Work Miracles: BG Fanfiction
HP, Detective Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Bungo Stray Dogs, Hunter x Hunter, Blue Lock, Haikyuu!!, Classroom of the Elite, Sherlock, Brothers Conflict, The King's Avatar, Gintama, Dragon Raja, The Lost Tomb, Tokyo Revengers
Less Popular BG Fanfiction
Includes Hunter x Hunter, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and Jujutsu Kaisen, among others. I like carefree, cute female leads! Only for readers who stick to completed stories.
Fanfiction Without Moral Goodness, Embracing the Worst
An occasional roundup of romance-oriented, not-so-happy fanfiction, including some dark, obsessive male characters. Don't read if you're extremely attached to the original characters. The dark, brooding tone may inevitably make them OOC.
Fanfiction
Come browse when you run out of books. Jinjiang won't let you give five stars, but these four-star ratings are really five-star ratings. Includes otome romance and no-CP stories.
Thanks to These Wonderful Writers Who Create Out of Love, Part 2
Free fanfiction recommendations, Part 2. Mostly Hunter x Hunter, Haikyuu!!, Bungo Stray Dogs, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers, and Gintama het romance
Free Reads, from the Female Lead's Perspective
Gintama, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Honkai: Star Rail, a little Death Note, Haikyuu!!, Harry Potter, One Piece, Tokyo Revengers, Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, The King's Avatar, and original works
Free Fanfiction, No Content Warnings
Derivative works in BL, romance, and no-CP, plus some fanfiction from male-oriented fiction. Gintama, The King's Avatar, DC, Western media, Harry Potter, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Detective Conan, Genshin Impact, and wuxia crossovers.
I Love Gintama, and I Have No Shame (Ongoing)
Gintama fanfiction, including danmei, romance, and gen. Ships are labeled; if there’s no label, it’s gen. Recommend something to me and I’ll owe you one.
Gintama Fanfiction
Gintama is a little niche on Jinjiang, and a lot of the fics are pretty old and not quite to my taste. Keeping track of the few fanfics I've read.
My Kind of Stories
A mixed bag of novels recommended according to my tastes, mostly fanfic with unfinished plots. Give them a try.
Fanfiction for Anime and Games, Plus Original Stories
There's a mix of lightly Japanese-inspired, fully Japanese, European-style, and Chinese-style stories. I think the writing is really good.

Brother, please give me one more episode. I'm dying. Please, brother. I feel like there are ants crawling on me. I feel like I'm shaking all over. I can't breathe. Please, brother, just give me one more episode. Just one more episode. I'll never touch it again. Please, brother. Really, just one episode. I swear I can't breathe anymore. I won't touch this thing anymore. I really can't bear it. Brother, please give me one more episode. I'm about to die. Please, brother. I feel like there are ants crawling on me. I feel like I'm shaking all over. I can't breathe. Please, brother, just give me one more episode. Just one more episode. I won't touch it anymore. Please.
Okay, when will the next meal be served? ^^ It has been whetting my appetite. ^^ It was obviously you who appeared on my recommended homepage first and showed me your seductive charm ^^^^ But now without saying a word, are you going to starve me to death silently? Are you really cruel? ^^^^^^ Am I some kind of trash that can be thrown away^^
Although I was disappointed, this article is really well written. The back and forth between the serious part and the funny part is super natural (I feel like most Gintama fans can't handle this well). The characters and complaints are also the least OOC I've ever seen. I originally thought of it as a fan article just for fun without placing any hope in the writing and plot. I unexpectedly found that it is the best quality among Gintama fans. I am so grateful that I can still find such an article when I suddenly wanted to renaissance Gintama in 2024. I am very satisfied.
I hope the teacher will come back~ It's really beautiful and has the flavor of the original work
There will be another addition to the series in my lifetime, can I still see updates? [Crying], please don't give up, woo woo [crying] [crying] [crying]
Woo woo woo, it ended here
I'm confused but this book is really good [Star Eyes]
Husband, don't do this to me [crying] [crying] [crying]
I'm too late! Love power is gone! My spiritual food is gone! The people who play with Brother Zhong are all good people. Please give me a way out. I really want to see the stuff in iPower!
Boss, I will always wait for you
