This Beta Is Done

[AXB, Reborn, Double-Rebirth Regret and Redemption]

When Jiang Li died,

he thought, if there is a next life, he never wants to love Qin Yuzhou again.

He had been Qin Yuzhou's dog all his life, living and dying for him, giving him everything he had.

But as he lay dying, the only good news he received was from an enemy: Qin Yuzhou was getting married.

Perhaps a Beta should never have deluded himself into thinking an Alpha might love him.

With regrets in his heart, Jiang Li died on that snowy night, finally letting go of his last obsession.

When he woke again, Jiang Li discovered he had been reborn in the past.

That year, he was naive and foolish, trailing behind Qin Yuzhou like a shadow, his eyes and heart filled with him.

Everyone knew the Tactical Studies department had a lovesick, delusional Beta who had gone mad enough to set his sights on the empire's most revered Alpha, the lofty Crown Prince.

He was merely a lowly Beta, ground into the dirt, and would never be worthy of the other man.

Given another life, Jiang Li gave up.

He tore up the application he'd prepared to join the Royal Guard, changed departments, and chose to keep his distance.

He had given too much for Qin Yuzhou in his last life. Now that he had been reborn, he no longer had the courage to fight so desperately.

Being an ordinary Beta who didn't strive to outdo everyone else was just fine.

Accepting a Beta from a family of equal standing wasn't out of the question, either.

He just never expected Qin Yuzhou, who had always been so indifferent toward him,

to go mad all of a sudden from that day onward.

On the day Qin Yuzhou ascended the throne, a rare light snow fell on the Imperial Star.

But the person he was waiting for never returned safely beneath his gaze.

From that day on, everyone around him could see it.

The usually composed and restrained Crown Prince had gone mad.

Later, Qin Yuzhou would frantically press close to the back of Jiang Li's neck.

His domineering pheromones would flood the air, trying to make Jiang Li his alone, so that no one else could occupy his thoughts. But in the end, all Qin Yuzhou could do was jab a suppressant into his own body, his eyes bloodshot, and suffer alone under Jiang Li's indifferent gaze.

An Alpha can never mark a Beta.

And Qin Yuzhou knew that Jiang Li would never belong to him alone again.

A possessive, secret-madness Alpha top who just can't communicate × a beautiful Beta bottom who's cool, taciturn, and surly, but strong and a skilled fighter

※ Content Warnings ※

1. Both leads are reborn, with a groveling pursuit of the spouse. 1v1 happy ending, no changing tops, but plenty of dramatic confrontations.

2. The leads are reborn at different points in time. The wedding news the bottom heard in his last life was a misunderstanding; the top never married. However, the top's actions will not all be whitewashed or romanticized.

3. No children in the main story. There may be a bonus chapter about it, depending on circumstances, but the odds are low.
