I'm Pregnant, So You're Going to Take Responsibility

The rabbit demon Pei Yudeng was injured and fell unconscious. A passing immortal brought him back and let him recover in his room for several days.

When he woke up, his illness was gone, but his mind had gone haywire.

He discovered that his spiritual power had mysteriously vanished, and he kept feeling nauseous. All the signs pointed to one thing: he was pregnant!

With red-rimmed eyes, Pei Yudeng found the immortal and burst into tears. “I’m carrying your baby, and I’ve lost my spiritual power too. You... you have to take responsibility for me!”

The immortal: “...?”

When Pei Yudeng got cold at night, he would squeeze into the immortal’s bed. When he was unhappy, he wanted to be held. He also insisted that the immortal stroke his soft, round belly every day and talk to the baby.

A few months later, his due date arrived.

Pei Yudeng looked down at his still-flat belly and fell into deep thought.

The immortal traced a fingertip over his stomach, looking at him with an amused smile. “Go on, give birth. Why did you stop, hmm?”

※ The shou is experiencing a false pregnancy.

Rabbits experiencing false pregnancy may show behaviors associated with labor, such as carrying grass and pulling out fur, but no baby rabbits are born.
