Dream of the Red Chamber: How Can Feng Yuan, a Cannon Fodder, Survive?

What's it like when you've been unlucky for years and suddenly win the lottery jackpot? Isn't it incredibly exciting? But what if, just after linking the card with your prize money to your phone, you decide to enjoy being rich and buy whatever you want, placing order after order online? Then, because your phone is a cheap knockoff you've used for too long and its battery can't hold a charge, you plug it in to charge. The phone explodes, and you die of electrocution. How does that feel? But that's not even the most despairing part. The most despairing thing is opening your eyes and discovering you've become Feng Yuan, the biggest cannon-fodder character in Dream of the Red Chamber. You're in the middle of sorting out your family's business, planning to sell off the ancestral estate to ransom Zhen Yinglian, and Xue Pan is about to beat you to death. How would that feel? And the absolute worst part is that you can't refuse to play this cannon-fodder role, or your one-day trip through Dream of the Red Chamber will end immediately. How would that make you feel? A few content warnings: The System really does have some shortcomings, but if you want something, you have to give something in return. The System has already told Feng Yuan that he was destined to have shallow family ties. In other words, with or without the System, his parents would have abandoned him. As for his great-granduncle, that will be explained later. And the System not working when he's with Xiao Jiu also has a reason, so please don't leave me comments about that. Theme: When poor, look after yourself; when prosperous, help the world.
