It All Began with a Bridal Abduction

To fulfill our elders' wishes, I decided to marry my childhood friend from next door.

He was handsome and refined, came from a respectable family, had a good character, and was someone I knew inside out. He even had a stable job at a young age. Apart from his small eyes, he was a great candidate to share a life with.

I didn't mind not having a wedding, but my childhood friend insisted on holding one.

In a modest little church, I was about to recite my vows in an ordinary white wedding dress when a group of men in black charged into the ceremony like a pack of wolves.

A black-haired boy grabbed the hand holding my wedding ring. "Sorry, but I don't approve of this marriage."

A boy with brown hair and a top hat took the hand holding my bouquet. "You can't marry him. Come with me!"

Wait?

What kind of love-triangle-from-hell development is this???

Reading Guide:

* Third-person narration

* The setting is entirely self-made. If you find a plot hole, it's part of the setting.

* A Mary Sue heroine, loved by everyone, with tons of one-sided crushes

* Love triangle, pick your favorite

* It should be reverse conquest: the characters come to conquer the heroine, right?

Theme: The only cure for sorrow is getting filthy rich
