You Are My Sovereign

Jiang Chenke first met Duo Junyi on the battlefield in Liaodong.

The other man was the chancellor of the Great Wei, while he, a defeated general, was brought before Duo Junyi in chains.

Duo Junyi wore black, his amber eyes cool and deep.

He remembered how, when Duo Junyi saw him, a ripple stirred in those eyes, still as stagnant water.

He watched as the man rose from his wheelchair and came before him, then personally helped him up and asked:

"Are you willing to surrender to the Great Wei?"

Jiang Chenke surrendered to the Great Wei and became the only disciple under Duo Junyi.

It was only when they returned to court to meet the emperor after their victorious campaign that he suddenly realized:

He bore a slight resemblance to the Son of Heaven seated on the throne.

[Reading Guide]

1. BE, everyone gets a BE (probably).

2. Junyi is the shou, and the emperor is the gong. The emperor's name is below, and unless something unexpected happens, it won't change.

3. There is a yuri pairing.

4. I'll add more if I think of anything (scratches head).

[This is my precious, beloved son. I'm posting it first and will take my time thinking and writing. The blurb will probably need revising too. This isn't a simple substitute story (scratches butt).]
