An Eighties Childhood Betrothal

Sang Ruochan and Xu Yunsen lived under the same roof for ten years, and spent all ten of them as sworn enemies.

Sang Ruochan was gentle and gracious, and adored by the elders.

Xu Yunsen was a rebel who defied convention, and commanded respect among his peers.

Sang Ruochan thought Xu Yunsen was nothing but a hooligan.

Xu Yunsen thought Sang Ruochan was a complete hypocrite.

Sang Ruochan thought, "His future wife will have the worst luck in the world to end up with such a menace."

Xu Yunsen thought, "Sang Ruochan's husband must have committed every crime in the book in his last life to deserve such a misfortune."

She blinked, and found herself transported to the 1980s, in the body of a baby just sprouting her first teeth.

Her mother held her in her arms. Across from them, a pretty auntie waved a rattle to entertain her. "Chanchan, you'll be my daughter-in-law someday, okay?"

Sang Ruochan took a good look. Sitting in front of the pretty auntie was a little boy about her age, a miniature version of Xu Yunsen!

Sang Ruochan swung her chubby arms and scrambled over to Xu Yunsen.

Then, as the adults watched with amused smiles, she opened her mouth and bit his plump cheek, grinding her baby teeth into it with all her might.

Xu Yunsen: "Waaah..."

That little brat was strong!

So her good behavior all those years had just been an act!
