My Teammates Are All Protecting Me

(Main story complete. Currently writing "The Beloved Little Jungler")

#My teammates keep protecting me, but I can solo-kill all five opponents#

Lin Xiao was Ji Shijin's pampered canary. He didn't have to do a thing, and could swipe as many gold cards as he liked, until Ji Shijin's first love came back and he was kicked out.

With nowhere to go, Lin Xiao curled up in an internet cafe to sleep. A desperate manager lured him onto the team as an AD carry with a box of instant noodles.

At first, nobody had much faith in this picky canary who needed milk for his baths and went to bed at nine.

But after he scored three pentakills in a single match, every team fought tooth and nail to recruit him.

His teammates gradually turned into his devoted lackeys, protecting him relentlessly during matches. Even the mid laner, who always did things his own way, would personally buy him milk and test the water temperature for him.

At first, Lin Xiao only wanted to make his life a little better. He never expected to become the team's darling and star player, and he lived up to everyone's expectations by leading them to the world championship.

When his former owner came looking for him, Lin Xiao said, "I'm not anyone's canary."

Ji Shijin was still waiting for his canary to come back and admit he was wrong. Instead, he saw him livestreaming with bedhead and a sleepy look on his face, telling his fans, "Sure, I promise. If we make it to Worlds, I'll livestream in women's clothes for a month..."

Seeing his carefully tended canary "struggling" to make a living, Ji Shijin decided to forgive him.

Later, he came to the team's door to take Lin Xiao home.

The mid laner put an arm around Lin Xiao's shoulders, watching Ji Shijin warily. The support stepped in front of him with a smile, ready to take the damage. The jungler crouched, eager to jump into action. The top laner had already teleported around behind them. Lin Xiao still looked half-asleep. "Sorry, they're used to protecting me."

Burning with rage, Ji Shijin spent ten billion to build a new team. No one knew how much he regretted telling his canary something so cruel that night: "You're just a bird I keep. You just have to do as you're told. Why are you trying to act tough?"

#Stand on your own two feet, and don't take crap from anyone#

Reading Guide: 1. Lin Xiao is the bottom, and the team's mid laner is the top. 2. The top has an emotional disorder and thinks in ways that are far from ordinary. 3. The game is League of Legends, and the version is the author's own. 4. There are no real-life inspirations. 5. You can enjoy this even if you don't play League of Legends.

Recommended Upcoming Story 1: "The Beloved Little Jungler [Esports]"

Synopsis: After enduring two grueling years, Cheng Ning finally made it from the secondary league to the LPL. He arrived at his new team full of excitement, dreaming of a wonderful future.

Why were all the veterans so strange?

The top laner was a shameless old flirt with a gentle but deadly edge. "Why hasn't my little brother come top yet? Your big brother's having such a hard time pinned under the tower."

When Cheng Ning went top to gank, the mid laner would question him in a deep voice that made his ears melt: "Hey, do you like top more?"

The AD was always saying the most flirtatious things: "Brother, save me!"

The support liked to summon him wherever he went. "Come help me take the dragon."

As a rookie, Cheng Ning didn't want to offend anyone, so he went to invade the enemy jungle instead, only to run right into the opposing jungler.

In an instant, the top laner activated Teleport, the mid laner arrived before the enemy, the support risked his life to save him, and the bot lane flashed over to heal him.

The opponents asked politely, "Are you playing jungle?"

Though his senior teammates were a little strange, Cheng Ning still reached the top of his career with their help. Later, these big shots all revealed their secret identities, and it turned out they were the little strays he'd once taken in!

*From the top's perspective:

When Ye Lichuan was at his lowest, he worked as a gaming companion. His temper was so bad that he got a flood of complaints every day. Only one little idiot didn't mind. He hired Ye Lichuan every day and praised his nice voice, genuinely treating him like his "wife" and buying him gifts and skins.

Later, Ye Lichuan earned enough for a plane ticket and blocked the little idiot without hesitation, beginning his own cheat-code professional career.

Until one day, the little idiot showed up at his door. "Hello, my name is Cheng Ning."

Ye Lichuan: ...Is it too late for me to retire?
