Wei Qing'er has been a beggar for as long as she can remember, and she's convinced that she'll spend her whole life stuck where she is.
Then, at fourteen, she takes one step forward: she becomes a beggar with tuberculosis.
Wei Qing'er finds a scenic spot with good feng shui and decides to wait for death. But suddenly, a "livestream room" appears in her mind.
#
Gourmet food, fine clothes, gold and jewels, elixirs of immortality, pills for longevity...
Whatever you can think of, the "livestream room" has it.
All Wei Qing'er wants is that pill for longevity.
But exchanging for it takes money, and the only way to earn money is through tips from "viewers."

The servants in the Jia household all laugh at Wei Qing'er, saying she's stupid. She could have gone to serve in the lovely Yihong Courtyard, but instead she insists on serving that sharp-tongued Miss Lin.
Wei Qing'er doesn't know who "Second Master Bao" or "Miss Lin" are. She only knows she has to survive.
And to survive, she has to please the "viewers."
