I'm Just a Corpse Collector [Apocalypse]

Thirty years after the zombie virus outbreak, food is still a scarce resource. Families with land have become the envy of everyone.

Thankfully, social order has gradually stabilized, and people have found ways to earn supplies.

Schools have also officially reopened.

While everyone complains, "Why do we still have to go to school when it's the end of the world?" Yan Xue is the only one secretly thrilled.

Why?

Because he finally doesn't have to stay home all the time!

While others deliberately arrive late, claiming they ran into zombies on the way because they don't want to go to school, Yan Xue leaves home at daybreak to make sure he gets there on time.

While others take the school bus because they want to get home sooner, Yan Xue deliberately walks home along the route with the most zombies, refusing to go inside until nightfall.

His strange behavior soon attracts everyone's attention.

One day during break, a classmate finally finds a chance to talk to him.

Classmate: "Do you really like studying?"

Yan Xue shakes his head. "No."

Classmate: "Then why do you come so early and leave so late every day?"

Yan Xue answers earnestly, "Because if I don't come to school, I'll have to go home and inherit the family business: farming."

Classmate: ...?

Song Shu has been troubled lately.

Someone's stealing his side gig.

Every night, Song Shu picks a route with the most zombies and the fewest pedestrians and hacks his way through. But lately, he keeps finding that someone else has already cleared the other half by the time he gets halfway through. It's been like this for a whole week.

Once he realizes someone is cutting in on his route, Song Shu can't help going to find him.

A handsome young man stands there, expressionless, swinging a Tang sword with crisp, precise movements. Every swing hits its mark.

Noticing his torn clothes and the way his eyes light up when he sees the crystal cores, Song Shu walks over. "Are you short on money? You can have these too. Use them to buy yourself some nicer clothes."

Yan Xue, with a hundred mu of farmland waiting for him to inherit, looks up in confusion. "...?"

These ripped clothes are totally in style, okay?

Before he can say anything, the other man continues, "Or maybe..."

"Do you like collecting corpses?"
