Try Chasing Me Again [Esports]

The first thing Young Master Jing did after returning to the country was buy the DOG team, which was on the verge of disbanding.

Rumor had it that the team was just like its name: the atmosphere was toxic, the players were at each other's throats, and they were constantly sabotaging one another behind the scenes.

Everyone advised Jing Nian not to do something foolish and jump into the fire just to get bullied.

On Jing Nian's first day with the team, the remaining "scraps" all glared at him menacingly, radiating hostility.

Jing Nian sat in the chair at the center, tossed a huge stack of cash onto the table, and said calmly, "I have one rule: do as you're told, or get out."

No one expected the DOG team, supposedly the "most unmanageable team" around, to change its ways completely and obey its new owner without question.

The top laner known as the "mad dog": Me bully Jing Nian? You've got to be kidding. He's my big brother. I need him to have my back!

The resource-hogging AD: Bro, take the minion wave. Take the red buff. Take it all, it's yours.

The support who was always glued to the AD: The era of AD carries is over. Protecting the AD is pointless. My job is to protect the mid laner.

Everyone: Why is this so out of character???

Yu Xingchen was once the world's best jungler, with a reputation to match his skill, but his team kicked him out over match-fixing and his conduct.

Jing Nian found Yu Xingchen smoking with a group of hooligans by the back entrance of an old school building.

"Do you want to return to the league?"

The tall, long-legged, handsome young man raised an eyebrow. "No."

Young Master Jing, who had always had things go his way and liked to win people over with money, hit a wall for the first time. He doggedly pursued Yu Xingchen, trying to get him to join the team, but took countless falls along the way.

The night after their victory, someone interviewed Yu Xingchen, who had just won MVP: "A lot of teams have made you offers. Why did you join DOG?"

Yu Xingchen: "Because the team owner pays well."

Everyone: ...

What Yu Xingchen was really thinking: He pursued me relentlessly. He must love me so much.

Jing Nian handed out bonuses to his teammates. Yu Xingchen returned his heavy stack of cash, leaned close with a smile, and said, "When I agreed to sell myself to you, this wasn't the kind of payment I had in mind."

A foolish, money-flinging sugar daddy bottom who loves to spoil people (mid laner) x a self-deluded, outwardly reserved top (jungler)
