Blurb:

Di Ting had just won the Olympic championship when he lost his short-track speed skating ability.

Overnight, he could no longer skate. Even standing on the ice became difficult.

He had once been the king of the ice, but now he was a pathetic wreck, and countless people laughed at him behind his back.

"Hello, Di Ting. I'm System 211, pleased to serve you. Your ability was stolen by the Host of System 444. Would you like me to help you take it back?"

"No."

"If you bind yourself to me, not only can you reclaim your ability, you can steal other people's abilities too. Don't you want revenge?"

"No."

"I'll take back what I lost myself!"

Reading guide:

1. I'm not a professional athlete. All the specialized content is based on online searches and research. The story comes first, with professional knowledge as a supplement, so there may be errors or omissions. I hope you'll understand, and feel free to point them out in the comments.

2. You don't need to know anything about short-track speed skating to enjoy the story. Sources for quotations will be listed in the author's notes.

3. The story takes place in a parallel world and is not based on real people. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.

4. I'll try to update daily, with chapter length following the site's ranking schedule.

Blurb:

On the ninth layer of heaven, war between immortals and demons was about to break out. Demon Venerable Lin Jiutian was no match for his opponents and was knocked straight down from the ninth layer. He lost all his cultivation and happened to land on an island.

Just then, a talent show nearby was scrambling to start filming and was one contestant short. They grabbed Lin Jiutian to fill the spot, making him the first trainee with zero hours of practice...

A newcomer with no cultivation left, Lin Jiutian was tricked into signing an agreement and could no longer leave the island. He had no choice but to start learning how to sing and dance from scratch.

Watching the other trainees sing, dance, rap, and show off their many talents, Lin Jiutian lounged around as a "useless beauty." He was always the last to arrive and the first to leave, and the first to go to bed every night. He coasted on his looks all the way to the finals.

Then, the night before the final, the Demon Venerable vanished, throwing the talent show into chaos.

**

The demon realm fell into chaos after losing its Demon Venerable, until the Water-Moon Mirror, the demon realm's most treasured artifact, finally pinpointed his location.

The Left and Right Protectors: Quick, see what His Lordship is doing. Is he suffering in the human world?

In the mirror, His Lordship wore a bunny headband as a crowd gathered around him to take pictures.

The Left and Right Protectors: Humans are shockingly fierce! Men, follow me and hurry to rescue His Lordship!
