Thutmose III, pharaoh of Egypt's Eighteenth Dynasty, was known as the Napoleon of ancient Egypt for his bravery and skill in battle.
But when he was ten, he met a woman in a white gauze dress at a temple. As she walked toward him, he thought she was the goddess Isis herself, come down to earth.
Ten years later, a girl named Hera fell from the sky and entered his world.
A goddess who claimed to know the future had come from the heavens. Surely the gods had sent her to be his guiding light.
Yet Hera found herself developing feelings for the twenty-year-old man before her.

(A special note: If you find parts of the story confusing or historically inaccurate, please don't immediately call me out. My knowledge of history is poor, and parts of the story include OOC characterization and elements of my own invention. I am not writing an extensive history lesson; I am simply telling the story I want to tell.)
(When I first started this story, my research was disorganized, so some names in the text are incorrect and may be confusing. I'll revise the whole thing before the story is finished. I'm very sorry about that.)
