Lady of Hanover

A woman capable of influencing a king. She spent her whole life standing between her husband and danger, sheltering him from every storm.

She loved art and philosophy. She learned to govern the people beneath her throne with enlightened policies.

She was Caroline of Ansbach, Queen Consort to George II of the House of Hanover.

"I have a faith, just like everyone else, and I will spend my entire life fighting for it."

Set in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Germany and England. The heroine is Wilhelmina Charlotte Caroline, queen to George II of England. The story begins from the perspective of a transmigrator and ends with Caroline's death.

The male lead is not sexually faithful, though he is faithful to the heroine within their marriage. The heroine has no interest in taking lovers and is only interested in gaining power and status. She is deeply ambitious. Although her soul belongs to a transmigrator, I want to do my best to portray the historical Caroline accurately.

The romance takes up less space than the career storyline. If you like it, please add it to your reading list. If you don't, please don't leave nasty comments.
