The Three Realms' Deliveryman

[The Daily Grind of a Naturally Gloomy, Money-Grubbing Rich Kid Daoist]

"Why need wine to celebrate when life is carefree? Even without cooking a pot of yellow millet, I can still call myself an immortal."

Chu Shanye is a top student and the son of a wealthy family. He comes from an outstanding family, is exceptionally well-read, and is the envy of everyone around him. As his father's most beloved youngest son, he decides to...

Become a monk in the prime of his life!

This decision shocks his three older brothers, who were preparing to fight over the family fortune, and somehow nips a bloody, melodramatic rich-family feud in the bud.

Four years later, Chu Shanye returns after completing his studies and becomes a teacher at the youth center next door, specializing in tai chi. He occasionally reads fortunes by feeling people's bones, and lives a leisurely, carefree life.

His eldest brother comes to sound him out. "Aye, are you really not interested in the family business?"

Chu Shanye gives a lazy smile. "Money is an external possession. You can't bring it with you when you are born or take it with you when you die. Being a couch potato is just fine. How could inheriting the family business be as enjoyable as becoming a monk?"

His eldest brother is reassured and says with relief, "You have a point. Aye really is a man above the worldly..."

Before he can finish praising him, a loud notification chimes:

"Alipay received 100,000 yuan."

Chu Shanye, who had been radiating the air of an immortal just moments before, pulls out his phone and calls someone. He grits his teeth and roars:

"A whole month's salary is only! One! Hundred! Thousand! Is your company about to go bankrupt?! You think this little bit of money is enough to send a beggar away?!"

Tips:

1. Probably an ensemble cast story, with an overpowered, adored male lead =w=

2. Modern urban supernatural fantasy, featuring Daoists, charlatans, zombies, spirits who gained power before the founding of the People's Republic of China, and all sorts of strange things.

3. The main group is tentatively two handsome guys and a thousand-year-old beauty. Everyone is a villain.

4. Chinese-style horror, a passion project written to satisfy the author's weird ideas.

Theme: No one is allowed to become a spirit after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
