[New novel, *Woke Up Pregnant with My Archrival's Baby*, currently updating. Come give it a try!]
Blurb: Yu Junzhuo was once the pampered young master of a marquis's household. But after a fortune-teller declared that he would bring misfortune to his father, he was sent to live at an estate outside the capital. He was not brought back until he turned sixteen. He thought his life would finally change, but all that awaited him was more neglect and mistreatment, until he was beaten to death in the street...
When he opened his eyes again, he was back on the day he had first been brought home to the Yu estate.
Yu Junzhuo was tired. He no longer wanted to curry favor with anyone or fight for the pitiful scraps of affection his family offered. Instead, he chose to marry Prince Huai as his male consort.
Prince Huai was the famed God of War of the Great Yu dynasty, stationed at the frontier year-round. Rumor had it that he was a bloodthirsty monster with a green face and fangs who ate people's hearts and livers every full moon, the sort of terror that could “stop a child from crying at night.” Five years ago, when Prince Huai returned to the capital to report on his duties, he brought back a baby who was also said to eat people's hearts and livers.
Because of these rumors, when the emperor sought a bride for the gravely wounded Prince Huai, who was far away at the border, to bring him good fortune, everyone avoided the match. But Yu Junzhuo knew that Prince Huai would die within days of their wedding.
Then Yu Junzhuo would become the sole master of the prince's residence.
It wasn't that he was after Prince Huai's inheritance...
In his previous life, Yu Junzhuo had been beaten nearly to death and left outside Prince Huai's residence. It was raining that night. Cold and in pain, he glimpsed the gates opening through his haze. A tall man stepped out, carrying a small child. The man was incredibly strong: he held the child in one arm and scooped Yu Junzhuo up with the other, carrying him into the residence.
Everyone said Prince Huai's residence was like the Underworld's palace, with the heart-eating monster Prince Huai above and the mysterious little monster below. Yet, somehow, this was the only place that had ever sheltered Yu Junzhuo...
So this time, he resolutely chose to marry Prince Huai and bring him good fortune.
He decided to raise the young heir for Prince Huai and live out his days in peace.
He never imagined...
Before long, the dead Prince Huai came back to life!
And insisted on consummating their marriage...
Yu Junzhuo: *trembling in fear.jpg*
At first, everyone in the capital thought Yu Junzhuo wouldn't last ten days in Prince Huai's residence.
That was until they saw it with their own eyes at a festival: the usually stern Prince Huai leaned down to murmur to the ethereal young man beside him, making him laugh again and again...
From then on, no one dared look down on Yu Junzhuo.
Even the Yu family, who had once mistreated him, would end up groveling at his feet.
[Reader note: Marriage first, love later; a devoted one-on-one romance with a happy ending. Includes raising a child; the child is not the gong's biological son.]

Coming soon: *The Little Mute Is Rather Sweet*. Please add it to your collection~
Shou's POV:
Fang Zhuo injured his throat when he was seven and became a little mute who couldn't speak.
Later, by a twist of fate, he transmigrated into an ancient apocalyptic novel as a seven-year-old minor character. The boy looked exactly like him: pale, thin, and sickly, the sort who wouldn't survive past the first three chapters. Fang Zhuo didn't want to die, so he decided to find someone powerful to cling to.
He failed again and again and was nearly starving to death when he finally found someone to rely on: the story's powerful villain. The villain was still a teenager, looked like he had a terrible temper, and always wore a stern expression. But whenever he managed to find food, he would share some with Fang Zhuo.
At first, Fang Zhuo was a little afraid of him. But after freeloading off him day after day, he gradually got used to it. Then one day, the other boy somehow found him a clean set of clothes and told him to change. Fang Zhuo was so grateful that he took the clothes, only to realize they were a girl's dress.
Fang Zhuo: ...
He didn't want to wear it, but he didn't dare refuse.
After that, the big shot kept finding him all sorts of pretty dresses every few days. Fang Zhuo trembled with fear, convinced the big shot must have some kind of weird fetish...
Gong's POV:
Xiao Muxu found a child in a makeshift shelter. The child looked a lot like his missing younger sister. On a whim, Xiao Muxu took the child with him. At first, he was only doing it to ease his longing for his sister. But little by little, he grew used to the child's company, saving all the good food and drink for him and going to great lengths to find him clean clothes.
But for some reason, Fang Zhuo never seemed happy when he put on his new clothes. Later, he even started looking at Xiao Muxu warily. Xiao Muxu was disappointed and wondered if he had picked up an ungrateful brat who couldn't be raised right.
Then one day, he saw Fang Zhuo bathing in the river with another boy. He was about to fly into a rage when he realized Fang Zhuo was a boy.
Later on.
Order gradually returned, Xiao Muxu found his sister, and Fang Zhuo had grown into a young man.
Xiao Muxu planned out their new home: one room for his sister, one for storing food, one for cooking... There was only one room left, which obviously had to be his. Fang Zhuo was deeply disappointed. He packed his things and prepared to leave, but Xiao Muxu blocked him inside the house.
Fang Zhuo was upset. Their new home didn't even have a place for him to stay, so why keep him around?
But Xiao Muxu said awkwardly, “Haven't we always shared a room?”
Fang Zhuo: “What about when you get married?”
Xiao Muxu: “I won't. Unless it's to you.”
