Getting Back Together with My Top-Tier Star Ex on a Dating Show [Male Alpha, Female Omega]

*

Chao Sheng, a washed-up nobody ranked near the bottom of the entertainment industry, landed a dating reality show gig that was about as obscure as she was.

The night before filming, she got word that the show was switching from prerecorded to live, because the director had invited a top-tier star as a guest.

Chao Sheng thought: As long as my pay isn't cut, whether they're a top star or not has nothing to do with me.

The next day, she happily lugged her suitcase to the filming location, where she unexpectedly came face-to-face with the Alpha seated in the middle of the sofa.

Chao Sheng's eyes went wide, and she stumbled on perfectly level ground.

Chao Sheng had an ex-boyfriend named Qi Rongqing.

And, as luck would have it, he was the top star the director had invited.

Chao Sheng admitted that for one brief moment, she really wanted to bolt for the door QwQ.

At the director's request, the guests had to sit around the living room's screen and answer questions from the live chat.

[Why did you come on this show? So curious]

Chao Sheng answered without hesitation: "I can't afford my rent! I really need the paycheck the director promised!"

Qi Rongqing, sitting beside her, glanced at the comments, then immediately looked away. "Chao Sheng is here."

The author, Xiao Chu, roars from the back: This is not based on real people!!!
