Will You Be My Wife?

Because I'm an idiot and can't handle multiple versions of the same character, I've given up on the previous idea. Angels who bookmarked the story before but don't like the new blurb, could you please unbookmark it? Muah! (dramatically making a heart with my hands)

Ning Zhuo fell for a straight guy.

"It's not my fault, okay?"

Holding a glass of orange juice, he poured his heart out to his childhood friend at a bar.

Xi Wenqing, the captain of the first squad, was famously ill-tempered and hard to approach. Yet around Ning Zhuo, he kept all his prickles tucked away.

"Who could've known he was straight? Straight! I need to find someone else to like!"

Ning Zhuo, who was allergic to alcohol, angrily downed a gulp of iced orange juice.

His friend asked how he knew.

Ning Zhuo: "I, I heard it from someone."

His friend: ...

His friend: Why don't you look behind you?

Ning Zhuo turned around and met the dark, sullen face of the straight guy he'd been talking about.

When Xi Wenqing was a child, he met a delicate little human who opened his mouth and said, "My name is Ning Zhuo. Will you be my wife?"

He remembered those words all the way to the present.

And then he got himself a wife named Ning Zhuo.
