Longing for What Cannot Be Had [Reborn]

Everyone has someone they can never have.

Xie Siyuan longed for Huo Yinnian all her life, but could never win her over. She clung to her relentlessly and tried to force her to be hers, until at last, on her deathbed, she finally let go.

Before she died, she thought: She'd been a terrible person all her life. If there was a next life, she should just let it go. Leave Huo Yinnian alone, and let herself go, too.

Then she opened her eyes to another summer, with the sun blazing overhead and a girl smiling calmly not far away.

Xie Siyuan: "..."

Xie Siyuan decided to honor her last wish from her previous life and turned to leave.

The bright-eyed girl standing nearby had sparkling, peach-blossom eyes. Holding her breath, she waited for Xie Siyuan to come over. This time, as long as A Yuan came to her, she would reach out her hand.

Then she watched helplessly as the Xie Siyuan who had once pursued her relentlessly walked away without looking back.

Huo Yinnian: "???"

In my last life, I loved you with all my heart, and you couldn't care less. In this life, I'm giving you what you wanted, but now you won't stop chasing me.
