Green Tea with Childhood Sweethearts

A young man rode in on a bamboo hobbyhorse, circling the bed to play with his childhood sweetheart.

The childhood sweethearts were supposed to be a couple, but then a scheming girl came along. The childhood friends went their separate ways, and the childhood sweetheart and the schemer lived happily ever after.

When people asked the schemer, Lin Qingcen, why, she snipped off a rose.

"Because he doesn't deserve her."

The girl she had cherished since childhood was someone she loved but could never have, someone she wanted but never dared to pursue. In the end, she discovered that the girl was the heroine of an angsty novel, destined to be stabbed by a scumbag, have her kidney removed, and be used to block a car accident, all while suffering heartbreak and emotional devastation.

At last, she could stand it no longer. Using a few little tricks, she freed her rose from the scumbag and brought her back into her arms...

One day, the scumbag came crawling back, sobbing. "Yiyi, I was wrong. I really was. I love you. Will you come back to me?"

The clean-cut, beautiful girl lifted her slender neck, like a lovely white rose. Her tone was polite and distant. "I'm sorry."

The little plum blossom who had weathered the rainy season beneath the eaves found the camellia that had always grown beside her. From then on, nothing in the world could catch her eye.
