Ice Sprite [Figure Skating]

On the ice, a failed attempt at a quadruple rotation can hit with the force of being struck head-on by a small car.

Figure skating is the ultimate fusion of art and athletic competition.

Behind every beautiful performance lie cruelty and blood.

The jumps performed on blades are dazzling flowers that carry the human body to its limits.

Qu Qingqing's figure skating career came to an abrupt end when she tore a ligament for the last time.

At nineteen, she was covered in injuries. Her anorexia, caused by extreme dieting and her coach's psychological abuse, had become untreatable.

The coaching staff demoted her, and she lost her chance to compete in the Winter Olympics.

On the night she left the club, a car accident sent her back ten years.

A nine-year-old girl stood at the entrance to the country's most famous figure skating club.

Her coach's smile seemed as fresh as yesterday, and the inhuman training she had endured over the next ten years was still vivid before her eyes.

Should she keep going? Keep challenging her limits, even if it all ended in obscurity?

Was figure skating worth giving her life for, a second time?

Qu Qingqing clenched her small fists and looked up at her elegant mother, a ballet dancer.

"Mom, I want to go back to Huaguo to train."

Of course she would keep going! She was born for figure skating. But this time, she would bring honor to her country!
