A Foodie Stepmother's Daily Life in the Qing Dynasty

The story is complete! Thanks for supporting the official release. Ongoing story: A Qing Dynasty Rebirth: Consort Tong, the Lucky Koi, Just Wants to Take It Easy Here is the blurb: Food-streaming host Rong Xin is reborn in the womb of a wealthy family in the Great Qing. Her grandfather is Sony, head of the Four Regents. Her cousin is Empress Heseri, the famous love of Emperor Kangxi's life. If all goes as expected, Rong Xin will enjoy a life of wealth and luxury. But things don't go as expected. Empress Heseri passes away, and the concubine's daughter originally chosen for the role suddenly falls ill for no apparent reason. After much searching, Songgotu spots Rong Xin, who's busy wolfing down her food, and picks her. Fine. Rong Xin, whose only ambition in life had been to become a pampered Manchu auntie, packs her things. At the age of ten, she enters the imperial city bearing the honor of her entire clan. As soon as she enters the palace, her cousin's child runs up and calls her Imperial Mother. Rong Xin puffs out her still-underdeveloped chest. "Well, look at that. I'm someone's stepmother now." But she soon realizes that having this little child around makes a life of wealth, good food, and fun all the more convenient. Even at her young age, she's the foremost of the Four Consorts. She spends her days eating and drinking, and doesn't even need to beg Big Brother for rewards. What a carefree life! Somehow, before she knows it, she's become empress! And what's with her cousin's husband??? Why is he looking through her nameplate for the imperial bedchamber? I'm still a child, for goodness' sake! Rong Xin, now sixteen, has this to say. P.S.: The heroine is a foodie and competitive eating streamer. The heroine is ten, and Yinreng is six. The two kids run wild in the palace, scrounging food and treats every day. The romance only starts when they grow up. There's quite an age gap, but Kangxi is portrayed as a handsome man, so please bear with the romance. Don't be put off by the old baby. Lots of creative liberties, no palace intrigue, a beloved-by-all story, not historically accurate.
