When Cosplaying Dazai, I Transmigrated into Demon Slayer

Dazai Osamu causes a stir in the world of Demon Slayer (not really), and has turned into an immortal, indestructible monster (also not really).

All right, just kidding.

He wants to die, but neither human nor demon can kill him. Although Muzan could merge with him, that method of dying is far too disgusting and ugly, so Dazai firmly refuses.

Muzan: Want to die? Merge with me, and we'll become the most perfect being together.

Dazai Osamu: Daga, kotowaru.

Bloodline suppression doesn't work, and Muzan can't beat him in a battle of wits either. Furious, Muzan turns into a lump of flesh and chases Dazai, who can control his thoughts and has run away thanks to No Longer Human.

Then Muzan gets cut into 1,008 pieces.

Dazai Osamu: Subarashii.

After that, the two avoid each other for a long time. They never meet, even until the death of the person who gave Muzan a lasting trauma, though they both know where the other has been.

Muzan originally planned to find Dazai's weakness and force him into submission, but the man has no weaknesses at all.

Kibutsuji Muzan: (face twisted with rage)

Anyway, none of it matters. Just live here. Dazai rests his chin in his hand, smiling as he watches Douma get beaten up, all the while plotting his next bit of mischief.

Because the girls he wanted to die a double suicide with were all eaten by Douma.

Douma: I thought they tasted pretty good. Isn't it wonderful to die in my stomach?

Dazai: Thanks for the offer, but I feel like throwing up. (grins)

In the end, he even got Douma's cult disbanded (not really). But after doing a good deed, Dazai Osamu leaves with his hands behind his back, without taking a cloud or leaving a trace.

Before leaving, he still smiles and says,

"How pitiful."

Theme: None of it matters.
