Ninety Days of Immersive Submissive Roleplay

Shu Yu is a method actor. If he can't understand a character, he can't get into the role. After years in the industry, all the characters that made him famous had the same gloomy, mercurial temperament as he did, swinging unpredictably between joy and anger. One day, his agent got him a script about a self-effacing, submissive bottom, the kind whose partner treats him as a stand-in. Shu Yu's first reaction was that he couldn't play it, but his agent told him the film could win awards. Shu Yu said, "I'll give it a try." But leaving his comfort zone was hard. Troubled, Shu Yu went to a bar to drown his sorrows and accidentally slept with a handsome man. The next day, the handsome man threw a bank card at him. Shu Yu was about to lose his temper, but the man told him that what happened the night before was an accident. He'd mistaken Shu Yu for the unattainable person he loved. Shu Yu: "...Wait a minute." Shu Yu volunteered to be the handsome man's substitute lover, hoping to experience firsthand the submissive bottom's predicament and state of mind. Gu Songnian didn't disappoint him. Every move he made was straight out of the script's scum seme character, often making Shu Yu want to slap him. But it was all for work, so he put up with it. Three months later, Gu Songnian felt his love for his first love slowly fading, replaced by feelings for the substitute. But Shu Yu said, "Sorry, I'm wrapped." Gu Songnian was instantly like, "???" * No characters are based on real people. This is an unconventional pursuit-and-regret romance. * Blurb written on 2025.5.25.
