A Huge Hit

"Doctors say that a young man with heightened emotional sensitivity who has been abandoned time and again may develop an intense emotional and physical attachment to a particular person." Ming Zhao is beautiful and refined, with peach-blossom eyes, but he's famously frigid and proud. His ex-boyfriend Qin Ling tried to warm him up to no avail, then ruthlessly spread his indecent photos and stole his chance to debut. Two years later, Qin Ling is a top-tier star, with a steady stream of commercial and film offers. Ming Zhao, meanwhile, is a risk-prone entertainer whose reputation was in tatters by the time he graduated. On a rainy night, Ming Zhao carries heavy props toward the theater. On a giant screen beside him, a trailer for Qin Ling's major film keeps playing. Ming Zhao happens to glance at it. He freezes for a moment, then lowers his eyes with a bitter smile. In the shadows, his assistant looks sympathetic. "President Xie, are you really just going to watch?" The man gazes at him, his expression dark, and says nothing. At the CM Group's annual gala, heir apparent Xie Yi makes a rare appearance. Qin Ling pulls strings to get the closing slot, while Ming Zhao quietly stays in a corner. Qin Ling can't resist taunting him. "Being aloof won't put food on the table. Why not try seducing Xie Yi? I hear he likes men." Ming Zhao gives him a cool glance and says nothing. That night, however, a paparazzi video surfaces. Xie Yi pins Ming Zhao against a makeup mirror, his gaze dark, their distance dangerously close. "My dad divorced your mom, and you've held a grudge against me for seven years." Ming Zhao's ears turn red. Eyes lowered, he raises the tip of his white sneaker and rubs it against Xie Yi's dress shoe as if to placate him. "I was wrong..." Qin Ling: ??? Coming soon: "Flirting Gone Wrong [Esports]" As an old game declines and a new one rises, former gaming god Yu Fan faces a career change at twenty. The FPS and MOBA scenes are both in an uproar: "Some of these gaming gods are so full of themselves, they've lost all sense of direction. Can't wait to see them fall from grace!" "Love to see it. I'll set off fireworks for my team. No more god-tier oppression!" "Lol, changing careers at twenty is fine, right? Is this a retirement home?" "This guy flirts without even trying, plays like a maniac, and has left a trail of victims. Even I think God Yan should watch out." "No worries. God Yan will teach him a lesson." Yan Tingyu, the new king of the jungle in the North American region, is a god-tier player who turned the tide in the LCS Spring Split and claimed MVP six times. He's about to return to China to take over as captain of the NZY team. On stream, Yu Fan's foxlike eyes curve as he thinks of this taciturn, secretly flirtatious honor student from high school. He gets an idea and teases, "Come on, God Yan and I have shared a bed." The comments are split between calling him a flirt and furiously tagging Yan Tingyu to get him to call Yu Fan's bluff. A few hours later, Yan Tingyu, who supposedly has no girlfriend besides gaming, replies: @Yan Tingyu: "That's right." Everyone: ? Soon, esports fans watch as Yu Fan climbs the ranked ladder all the way to Challenger, rakes in prize money at domestic tournaments, and beats the national server's top players so badly they chain-smoke to relieve their anxiety. During a mission stream, the top players joke, "Some divine hero needs to show up and take this freak down!" Yan Tingyu, usually a man of few words, speaks up for once. He holds a silver lighter between two fingers and casually rolls up the cuff of his black shirt. At their words, he says unhurriedly, "All right." The top players: "Fuck, are you two never going to stop shipping each other on the same team?" Just then, Yu Fan walks into frame in a bathrobe, his wet blond hair dripping and his waist slender, legs long. He mutters, "I could've sworn I hid it under the pillow." Everyone holds their breath, unable to understand why Yu Fan is showering at Yan Tingyu's place. Yan Tingyu turns around, weighs the lighter in his palm, and says casually, "What did I say would happen if you touched it again?" Like replacing the dopamine from smoking with other kinds of exercise. The comments erupt: "Things are different now. Fan is a treasure of the LPL region. God Yan's tone is a bit much." "So what if he's captain? Our mid-lane demon can't back down!" Everyone there waits for Yu Fan to hit back with some brazen banter. But Yu Fan, usually shameless and outspoken, sees Yan Tingyu's fingers and can't help trembling from the knees up, his ears turning bright red. Comments: ??? Later, the year NZY wins the global championship also happens to be the first year same-sex marriage is legal. As golden confetti rains down on the competitive stage, Yu Fan excitedly hugs the trophy and waves it around, while Yan Tingyu takes the chance to slip a ring onto his finger. #Straight guy who likes flirting with straight guys accidentally makes himself and his captain gay# [Arrogant, mischievous, mouthy, genius gaming god shou x ruthless, cold-hearted, specializes in taming flirts, highly capable, scheming gong] Theme: Strive to become the best version of yourself
