Raising a Little Monster

[Interstellar Federation colonel top x biological experiment subject bottom]

On the 186th day after the laboratory explosion, F001 met a human among the ruins.

The man crouched down and poked F001's ugly, strange body. His voice rang out with a smile:

"There you are, my little monster."

*

F001 was the lowest-ranking research subject in the laboratory. Because he was weak and harmless, every creature thought they could trample him and toy with him as they pleased.

In the Ninth District's fighting arena, a powerful alien sneered and lifted F001's chin, speaking rudely.

The little monster curled his lips into a smile, instantly flipped the enormous alien onto the ground, and stepped on his head, saying sweetly:

"Sir told me that if someone is rude to me, I can just step right on their face."

F001 wanted to be a simple, low-level creature, with no need to think, just eating his fill and waiting to die.

But only by becoming human could he kiss the tips of his beloved sir's fingers.

So the little monster worked hard to evolve every day. Once, he pushed himself too far and grew three eyes and five mouths. Looking in the mirror, he almost cried at how ugly he was.

Sir simply patted his head and smiled indulgently. "It's fine if you eat a lot. I can still afford to raise you."

Little monster: With one extra mouth, can I kiss sir one more time? QAQ

Reading notes:

☆ The little monster's true form looks a little strange, something like a slime, but he can transform into a human and is a little beauty!

☆ Nonhuman character + interstellar setting, with a touch of wasteland and sci-fi. Many original details.
