My Gossiping Teammate Is on the Enemy's Side

[This story is complete. Also known as A Veteran Lurker and Her Hilarious Friends. A cute, sweet romance, come on in! Check out my other sweet romances in my author page!]

Q: What would you do if you found out that the handsome teammate you gossip with was secretly on the enemy's side?

A: Thanks for asking. I'm out in the world and just got stabbed. I'm preparing to make a run for it with all the loot. How do I make sure I take the handsome guy with me?

---The unserious blurb---

Have you ever met a female player who says, "I only like playing with girls," but is really just using them to build an image for herself and win the favor of men?

My name is You Xi. I'm a gamer, I love making friends, and I enjoy gossiping wherever I go. One day, I was invited to join a special sworn-sisterhood group, and from then on, I lived right in the middle of the gossip.

One woman and six men: a stage made just for a high-level green tea and her army of simps. A melodramatic soap opera plays out every single day. How could I not eat it up?!

But if you spend enough time in a melon patch, sooner or later you'll get hit. When I realized I was just a disposable tool in the hands of a high-level green tea, and the gossip suddenly became about me, it stopped tasting so sweet...

[You Xi]: She's obviously making up rumors! How can anyone believe such nonsense? I saw right through them ages ago. Not one person in their sworn-sisterhood group is any good!

[Some Di]: ...I'm in that group too.

[You Xi]: ?

Oh, my darling, this can't be true. My gossip buddy is on the enemy's side after all!! I really let my guard down this time.

Note:

Based on real events, but with major differences from reality. Permission has been granted by the original person involved (Some Di).

The game is Moonlight Blade Online. The protagonist plays the game, but there aren't too many complicated game-specific terms in the story (I think).

Dumping trash men and tearing into green teas. A hilarious, satisfying, sweet story. Don't overthink it. If you don't like this style, drop the story instead of forcing yourself to read it.

First-person narration.

Note x2:

Many players enthusiastically joined in as cameos while I was writing, but the story itself is short, so I couldn't include everyone. I'm sorry to those who didn't make it into the final version, and thank you for sharing your stories with me.
