Falling into Her Own Murder Trap

# Short story, redemption, tragic ending, not serialized for payment

# When despair leaves you with nowhere to turn, send one final plea for help to yourself in another world.

# This story was originally titled "Murder." I changed it for certain reasons, and also revised the main text. I've decided to use the original title after all and changed it back to "Murder." But writing it was so painful that I can't bring myself to revise the main text again. I hope you enjoy reading, and wake up happy every day.

# The final chapter stands on its own. The entire plot consists of twists that reframe details from earlier chapters. Everything is in the main text, and I won't explain it separately.

December 2023: A comment was deleted, so I'll put my reply here. I wrote this book in a hurry, but that doesn't mean I didn't care about it. I just didn't want to go into too much detail about many things, because doing so would be painful. I'm an overly empathetic person, and sad, painfully realistic scenes are hard for me to recover from and leave me feeling down. So I tend to unconsciously skip over many tragic scenes or make them more like fairy tales.

As for the ending, don't worry. Xiao Ye will live happily in the world she creates for herself.

The original blurb:

Jiang Ye is an orphan, a bug barely clinging to life in this world.

Anyone can step on her, and she has no strength to fight back.

After graduating from college, she unexpectedly received a will from her birth mother, inheriting eight million yuan and a home of her own.

Unfortunately, the will didn't bring a lucky turning point. Instead, it was like a cursed box, drawing her into a desperate situation.

With no hope left, Jiang Ye decided to prepare a murder plan and put an end to her miserable life.

Just as she created a new document and clicked to confirm its name, the kitchen door swung open. A strange man wrapped in a bath towel appeared...

"I often dream that someone is protecting me in different worlds and different circumstances. I can't even remember what he looks like, but I remember that every version of him is gentle and quiet, and always stays by my side. Whenever my world collapses, he always helps me... hold it up."

Zhao Ye in Xiao Ye's eyes: He's so gentle.

Zhao Ye in everyone else's eyes: Sharp-tongued, crazy, cocky, and wild.

Also known as: "The Home I Worked So Hard to Get Was Registered to Someone Else in a Parallel Universe" and "He Received My Signal for Help."
