Me, Audacious as Can Be, Flirt with the Ghost King

[Blurb] 1. Xie Lianhe was born under an extremely unlucky eight-character fate, with an unusually strong yang energy. In theory, ghosts and spirits should keep their distance from him. Yet all sorts of supernatural creatures seemed to hate him, attacking him the moment they met him and often drawing innocent bystanders into the fray. Xie Lianhe was thoroughly fed up. A fortune-teller said the trouble came from debts he'd incurred in a previous life. The only solution was to team up with a fierce demon powerful enough to subdue ten thousand ghosts. After thirty years of life, Xie Lianhe had met plenty of fierce demons. Every one of them tried to fight or kill him before he could even bring up working together. Then, while traveling, he came across a dilapidated temple. Rain poured down, and Xie Lianhe ran into the temple to take shelter. A sudden chill brushed past his ear, and a strand of long hair blew against his chest. "Brother, you're standing on my hand." Xie Lianhe looked up and saw a young man in a deathly white robe sitting on a beam. His long hair cascaded down, and he rested his chin on his hand, watching Xie Lianhe with leisurely interest. He was the most beautiful ghost Xie Lianhe had ever seen. His smile made Xie Lianhe's whole body tingle. That day, he fell for a ghost at first sight. 2. Ye Xinghua had been in this dilapidated temple for over a thousand years. He'd eaten all the ghosts within hundreds of miles as snacks. His one grievance was that even after the temple's statue had collapsed, no one could touch his bones, and he still couldn't leave. One day, an unwelcome visitor came to the temple and stepped right on his finger bone. He knew his chance had come. Plot idea conceived on September 8, 2021. Screen-captured on Weibo.
